The class B misdemeanor is the minimum punishment for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit in Utah. A fine or community service may also be included in the punishment, but the minimum charge is a class B misdemeanor. A class A misdemeanor is a more serious offense and would not be the minimum punishment.
